Dates: Sunday July 14th - Friday July 27th "Tentative Schedule"

Travel Plans: The jamboree runs from July 15th through 24th. As with prior jamborees, we will be doing sightseeing on the way back from West Virginia. In the past, we have had a mixture of fun and educational stops such as Hersey Park, Gettysburg, Constitution Hall in Philadelphia and Dorney Park.

Organization: The Jamboree is open to all who are qualified on a first come
first served basis. After the troops have been filled in, a list of alternates will be created. Scouts will be assigned to a jamboree troop consisting of 36 Scouts and 4 adult leaders. The Venture patrol will consist of 8 youth and 2 adult leaders. The council contingent will consist of three troops and a Venture Patrol.

Total Cost: The tentative cost is $1,500 for Scouts and $800 for adult leaders. All fees must remain current with the set council payment schedule. Delinquent participants and/or leaders may be placed on alternate lists.

Fee includes: The NationalJamboree fee, all transportation, tours, admission fees, meals, lodging, equipment and insurance. The fee also covers a weekend training session at Lone Tree Scout Reservation which will be held over the Memorial Day weekend in 2013. The only additional expenses will be your personal equipment, uniforms and spending money.

Refund Policy: If you sign up for the jamboree and then find out that you cannot go, you will receive a full refund (less $150) from the Yankee Clipper Council provided that there is an alternate to take your place. There are no refunds after May 31, 2013. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the 2013 Jamboree Committee,

Registration Fees: $200 reservation fee to the council due with your application. Applications with no deposit will not be accepted.

June 30, 2012 - $500.00 due
October 30, 2012 - $250.00 due
January 31, 2013 - $300.00 due
March 31, 2013 - $250 due
Adult Leader Payment Schedule:
$200.00 Reservation fee due to the council with your acceptance as a Council Contingent Leader.
