Clippertown Construction Derby

Clippertown overview photoThe Cub Scout packs of the Yankee Clipper Council are invited to participate in the Clipper Town Construction Derby. You will be building Clipper Town, a complete town including houses, commercial buildings (business, stores, etc), municipal buildings (City Hall, police and fire stations, hospital) and places of worship. You decide what you want to build, develop the plans, collect the materials and come prepared to construct it. Your inspiration could be buildings within your own town, your meeting place, a historic site or the imagination of your pack.

Purpose: The goal of the derby is to create a complete town. This is a Cub Scout activity involving Tiger Scouts, Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts. The key to the success of this event is the active participation, in all phases of development, by the boys.
