Camping is an important part of the Cub Scout program. Whether it’s a weekend overnight or a weeklong day camp, Cub Scouts who go camping stay in Scouting longer. At camp, they’ll refine skills they learned last year and get a head start on skills for their next advancement. At camp, they’ll be able to take part in activities and earn awards that can only be done at a Cub Camp. At camp, they’ll make new friends, learn to challenge themselves, and learn to enjoy the outdoors. But most importantly, they’ll have FUN. For most Cub Scouts, a week or a weekend at camp is the highlight of their summer.  Don’t miss out – round up your den and head to camp this summer!
All Yankee Clipper Council Cub Scout camping programs include:

  • A wide variety of age appropriate activities, many of which can only be done at a Cub Camp
  • A highly trained and enthusiastic staff
  • An on-site nurse whenever Scouts are in camp
  • Daily activities and opening and closing ceremonies based on each camp’s theme for the year
  • An on-site trading post with snacks and camping supplies
