Wah-Tut-Ca Scout Reservation is for boys entering 6th to 12th grade or up to 18 years old.

The highlight of the Scouting year for Boy Scouts is a week or more of summer camp.  Wah-Tut-Ca Scout Reservation is in Northwood, NH offer complete summer camp programs supported by excellent facilities and equipment. To a Scout, the magic of summer camp is the greatest adventure that Scouting holds. To a Scout leader, summer camp is the greatest opportunity he has to help his boys grow, and thus to achieve Scouting’s aims. As Scout leaders, we have the responsibility to help a boy to find that magic.

WahTut Ca Scout Reservation Hiring Drive 2011

Letter from Reservation Director Kevin Dion

As many of you already know, Jon Keating has stepped down as Reservation Director. As none of us truly "retire" from camp, Jon will be taking on a different roll as Vice Chairman of Program on the Council Camping Committee. Kevin Latina has also stepped down as Program Director. Kevin has accepted a year round full time position that will make him unable to return this summer. I will be returning this season as Reservation Director and taking the reigns of this years Program Director will be veteran staffer Luke Coughlan. But on to the more important stuff...

We have Wah-Tut-Ca Staff interviews all set up for the 2011 season. The primary reason Wah-Tut-Ca Scout Reservation has been so successful is due to the high quality of the staff that inhabit it each summer. This year is no different; we are looking to build the greatest staff possible. Each season is unique and the quality of each scouts camping experience depends upon you.

All interviews will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 170 Old Westford Rd, Chelmsford, MA.  The dates and times are as follows:

  • February 26, 2011 (11:00AM – 6:00PM) = Senior Staff
  • March 12, 2011 (11:00AM – 6:00PM) = Returning Staff
  • March 26, 2011 (11:00AM – 6:00PM) = New Staff

Once again, we are doing multiple days this year to break things up. Each interview will be on a first come first serve basis and roughly last around 20-25mins each. If for any reason you can’t make it on the appropriate day then please contact me to make alternate arrangements for an interview.  Please download and mail in an application as soon as possible. My address is on the last page of the application.

Please note the age requirements for senior staff positions are listed on the application. People selected for Senior Staff positions will be expected to be at the interviews for new and returning general staff to meet potential staff.

Even if you can’t be on staff full time, we need tons of volunteers to make this summer a success. If you plan on volunteering we need an application from you as well. All volunteers must be approved. However, no interview is needed.

We are looking to create the greatest staff in the history of Wah-Tut-Ca so please make sure you tell everyone who might be interested about the interviews.
