Membership Co-Chairs 
Tom and Diane Catyb		 The Membership Committee encourages growth in Scouting membership in several ways:
  1. Recruiting new members for existing units
  2. Helping to organize new units
  3. Guiding the membership in transitions, especially Webelos to Boy Scouts
  4. Preventing dropped units
  5. Encouraging retention of members

This is accomplished by:
  1. Gathering information about the district
  2. Developing a plan for membership growth
  3. Using special membership approaches where appropriate
  4. Using special relationship efforts
  5. Securing the cooperation of those responsible for other district functions
