Why Participate in the

Bowl-A-Thon ?

The funds raised through the Bowl-A-Thon will benefit your local pack or troop in any way you wish. Units may use the funds for individual scout accounts, the new pinewood derby track or new troop equipment.

  • Bowling is a great activity that can be combined with fund raising. It’s a fun way for a den, patrol, or the entire pack or troop to earn extra money for that special activity or summer camp.

  •  It’s a fun activity for winter cabin fever and gets you out of the house !

  •  It promotes advancement. Cub Scouts can earn credit for Wolf elective #20, Webelos Sportsman activity badge and the Cub Scout Sports belt loop. Boy Scouts can earn credit toward the Sports Merit Badge.

  •  It promotes the third aim of Scouting by keeping scouts physically fit.

  •  Helps raise the needed funding that will make your unit and council program better

The Bowl-A-Thon is....

An activity that is a fun-raiser too !

A day of bowling fun with hundreds of Scouts from 52 towns all bowling. Wow ! A way for a Scout to earn his way to summer camp or that special event.

ball” about....
