DERRY, N.H.
— Gary Fieldhouse, 50, of Derry, N.H., and longtime
resident of Methuen, passed away on Monday, March 21,
2011 at the Aurora Senior Living Center of Derry, LLC,
after battling lung cancer.
Mr. Fieldhouse was born in Lawrence on Feb. 14, 1961
to Arthur and Anne Fieldhouse.
He is survived by his father, Arthur Fieldhouse, and
step-mother, Renate Garceau of Florida; brother, Scott
Fieldhouse and spouse Dina LeFave of Haverhill;, sister,
Susan Barrett and spouse Thomas Barrett of Methuen;
twin-brother, Steven Fieldhouse and spouse Carmela
Fieldhouse of Methuen; sister, Jane Fieldhouse-Thomas
and spouse Kenneth Thomas of Hooksett, N.H.; along with
five nieces and nephews.
Gary was born with cerebral palsy and became a
life-long advocate for those with disabilities. He was a
major influence in promoting accessibility for persons
who are disabled and played a significant role in
raising awareness in the Merrimack Valley.
Gary was the ultimate Boston sports fan, and
especially loved the Boston Red Sox. His most cherished
memories include those of family trips to Fenway Park on
warm summer days to watch his beloved team play.

donations be made to the Boys and Girls Club of
Manchester, N.H. in Gary's name, which will be used
exclusively to help underprivileged children to enjoy
