  • Thomas Kehoe to receive the Silver Antelope Award
    Thomas Kehoe, who has been a registered Scouter for nearly 58 years, has been recognized by the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Northeast Region as a recipient of the 2014 Silver Antelope Award. The award is given for "noteworthy service of exceptional character to youth by registered Scouters under jurisdiction of the Regional Committee."
  • National Jamboree a Success For Local Scouts
    The Yankee Clipper Council contingent of 72 Boy Scouts and 8 leaders returned home with new experiences and memories from the first-ever National Jamboree held at The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia, the Jamboree's new permanent location.
  • Massachusetts Scouts Lend a Hand After Hurricane Sandy
    "To help other people at all times." Boy Scouts from Troop 3 in Manchester, Massachusetts (Yankee Clipper Council) took this phrase of the Boy Scout Oath to another level when they "adopted" the Scouts of Troop 148 in Long Branch, New Jersey, after Superstorm Sandy.
  • Haverhill Troop 1 100th Anniversary
    Haverhill Boy Scout Troop One - the oldest Boy Scout troop in Yankee Clipper Council - will celebrate its 100th Anniversary on Saturday, October 19, 6 p.m. at Northpoint Bible College, 320 South Main Street in Bradford.
